Norwood Cherry Floor Loom 30', with Sectional Warping EquipmentPriced to Sell! Reduced to $500I am selling my beautiful 30” Norwood Cherry Loom. It functions very well, and comes with an entire sectional warping setup, which is optional to use.Note; The gentleman I bought it from used it for many years. He was also a carpenter.
He said that cherry is a brittle wood, and that this caused the original side supports to chip a bit where the beater swung back. He replaced them with furniture grade plywood. Some years ago. I thought I might use it because I have an affinity for looms - my grandmother learned to weave in Sweden after retiring as a school teacher. She wove such lovely fabrics, from bedspreads and curtains to fabric for pillows and dresses. I've realized that weaving is a true art and takes patience and time which I don't seem to have right now!Tools of the Trade looms were made by a man named Art Weitzenfeld in Fairhaven, Vermont during the 1970’s and 1980’s. His skilled craftsmenship can be seen at He no longer makes looms so I think this is a good investment. As far as I know all the core parts are there except for fabric and a shuttle.I hope that with all the wonderful artists out there this loom will find a good home!Contact:updated 10/31/19.

We strive to make the finest hand weaving looms and related equipment possible. The combined textile manufacturing experience of our people is in excess of one hundred years. As weavers ourselves, we recognize that hand weaving is a craft which requires tools designed for function and quality. This site features the textile design and hand weaving tools that we have developed over the years with careful research and testing. Each product represents our philosophy that economy, quality, flexibility, and effectiveness are not mutually exclusive, but are all elements of a sound design.
Each product must be first and foremost a good reliable tool. Our looms, for example, are designed for weaving and not as pieces of furniture. We use only the strongest, most durable materials available. In addition, everything we build works in harmony with everything we have ever built, providing you with the most flexible and effective hand weaving tools available.
MACOMBER LOOMS are considered by weavers to be a very secure investment. Given reasonable care they appreciate in value. Ask the weaver who owns one.
